Generally if you choose to show the category name under the content that's what it does - but in the april Bamboo Loaded Blog package I wanted to add some text to the category name listed under each article in the same way that you can see it on some other blogging platforms like wordpress etc. So I realised that its actually pretty easy to insert some text such as "posted in" or "filed in" before the category name.

Sticky Tabs - Review

page.title

Its a simple tool that basically allows you to stick tabs on the side of the screen by dragging the application window across to the screen edge - any edge. While I love using expose to help me navigate through the multitudes of windows I have open when Im working this little tool is really very handy, because it means that your desktop can remain uncluttered and still have all the apps that you are using open on the desktop.

Im sure that this is what the new spaces element in Leopard is going to be but for now this gets my two thumbs up. Its shareware and only $14.95 which is really not too much given the time you will save not sifting through your desktop.

So in effect they wanted something similar to the news portal component just released by Ijoomla. There have been times that Ive been absolutley dumbfounded by the absence of the style drop down list in the back end when editing or writing content. Everytime it disappears it makes me think for a while about where it could have possibly gone ... so Ive written this very short tip in the hope to remind myself and to help others:

Make sure that the url in the browser is the same as the livesite - for the most part you have to remove the www from the address.

When I remember this they instantly re-appear .... magic! This also goes for when the popups like the html editor and hyperlink editors dont display properly also.
